The mother went shopping with her small boy. In the store, the grocer invited Sunny to help himself to a handful of cherries. But the boy seemed very backward.
"Don't you like cherries?" the grocer asked.
"Yes," said the boy.
The grocer put his hand in and dumped a generous portion into the little fellow's cap, which he promptly held out. Afterward his mother asked him why he had not taken the cherries when first invited.
"Cause his hand was bigger than mine" was the answer.

As the old man lies dying in the bedroom, out in the parlor the family discusses funeral arrangements.

Son says, "We'll make a real big thing out of it. We'll have five hundred people. We'll order fifty limos."

Daughter says, "Why do you want to waste money like that? We'll have the family and maybe a few friends. One limo just for us."

They proceed. Grandson says, "We'll have lots of flowers. We'll surround him with dozens of roses and lilies, dozens and dozens."

Daughter says, "What a waste! We'll have one little bouquet, that's enough."

Suddenly, the voice of the old man is heard, wafting weakly from the bedroom, "Why don't you get me my pants? I'll walk to the cemetery."

An old cowboy dressed to kill with a cowboy shirt, hat, jeans, spurs and chaps went to a bar and ordered a drink.
As he sat there sipping his whiskey, a young lady sat down next to him. After she ordered her drink she turned to the cowboy and asked him, "Are you a real cowboy?"
The cowboy replied, "Well, I have spent my whole life on the ranch, herding cows, breaking horses, mending fences, I guess I am." After a short while he asked her what she was.

Spanish captain was walking on his ship...

A soldier rushes to him and says, "One enemy ship is approaching us!"

Captain replies calmly, "Go get my red shirt"

The soldier gets the shirt for the captain. The enemy ship comes in, heavy rounds of fire are exchanged. Finally, the Spaniards win.

Soldier asks, "Congrats sir, but why the red shirt?"

Captain replies, "If I got injured, then my blood shouldn't be seen, as I didn't want my men to loose hope."
(Moral: For success, hope is very important)

Just then, another soldier, "Sir, we just spotted another TWENTY enemy ships!"

The captain calmly replies, "Go bring my yellow pants."
